Triple F Ranch Annual Wagon Train Join us for a 4 day adventure of christian fellowship as we travel back in time and by covered wagon. This western adventure will create a marvelous setting for spiritual growth, making new friends and discovering our heritage.
About the ride... The wagon train consists of canvas-topped box wagons just like some of those that were used by the pioneers in the early 1840's. The wagons are pulled by teams that are used to hard work. The wagons will include a "chuck wagon" which, needless to say, becomes the center of attention. A portable outhouse will accompany the wagon train and there are also tents to protect us from any unpleasant weather. A professional wagon master, experienced teamsters and wranglers will coordinate the driving of the wagons and the horseback riding for these trips. Exceptional cooks will prepare delicious meals. Our carefully trained camp staff will provide the program. The Wagon Train normally takes place near the 4th of July. In 2005 the dates will be June 26th - June 29th. Activities include: candlemaking, soap making, rope making and nature hikes, etc. Registration: The wagon train is limited to 70 participants. Acceptance will be on a first come, first served basis.
