NOTICE!

We cannot be responsible if you do not give correct contact information on your puppy purchase agreement.  You MUST provide correct/current contact info (Your PHYSICAL address as it states on your drivers license) because 1) Your info is required on the health certificate 2) the airport will ask you for your ID   3) if there is an emergency or any changes at the last minute we must be able to contact you!

 SHIPPING DETAILS

Puppy prices now include the kennel and health certificate!

When we ship (most commonly)... if 3 or less puppies are going at the same time we use Great Lakes out of Dickinson.  When 4 or more puppies leave at the same time we use Northwest Airlines out of Rapid City, sometimes out of Bismarck, ND.  DUE TO GAS PRICE INCREASE WE NOW ONLY SHIP ON Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Puppy shipping is usually via airlines to anywhere in the Continental US (subject to change due to airline fees).  Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada vary in prices for shipping, please contact us for current rates.  Airline shipping is normally out of Dickinson, ND or Rapid City, SD, outdoor temperatures must be between 10° - 85°. Maximum the airport allows is 2 puppies in 1 crate.  DOOR to DOOR transportation service can also be used,  door to door is more costly and varies please get a quote from the transporter.  The ground delivery transportation service providers do provide references and come highly recommended to us. 
Our FIRST choice we will use is  Great Lakes connecting up to United, Continental, Delta, American, or Frontier Airlines out of  COLLECT or PREPAID by CC with Great Lakes and can be between $155.00 and $240.00   which is only a 1 1/2 hour drive for us one way.  We make the arrangements then give you a phone number to a Great Lakes agent to pay for the flight, this has been quite easy and successful.  Flights to Denver, CO or any town that Great Lakes lands are only $88.

 Second choice is Northwest airlines  out of   Rapid City, SD is COLLECT which is about $160.00 to $180.00  (sometimes Bismarck, ND) which is a 3 hour drive one way for us one way.  Northwest destination cities.

For your convenience we have placed the Rapid City and Dickinson Weather here for you to see.  We sometimes go by the "feels like" rather then actual temps, pending on the weather conditions.  Weather is a factor at ALL stops.  Example... all Northwest flights stop in Minneapolis, so even Minneapolis weather is a factor.  DELAYS IN SHIPPING CANNOT BE HELPED AND WE WILL NOT GIVE ANY REFUNDS DUE TO DELAYED SHIPPING!

  • COLLECT - meaning you pay for your puppies plane ticket upon arrival at your airport (we make the flight arrangements and let you know the flight times).  PREPAID -we make the arrangements then provide a phone number to contact Great Lakes airlines to pay for the plane ticket.  This has been quite easy and successful with previous shipping and has become cost saving to our new puppy owners.

NOTE:  Expect this item to get dirty.  We'll layer newspaper over it to protect it somewhat. 

  • Deluxe Quiet Time Beds.  Ultra plush chenille fabric.  Machine washable.  We offer this item to those who wish to have extra comfort particularly for winter months for extra cuddly comfort. Black or gray (which ever we have in stock, no color choice though).  $10.00
  • We mail or attach to the crate the Iams or Purina Puppy Starter Kit which includes all the necessary paperwork for registering, shot record, microchipping info and any other papers we have added to the packet.
  • Should you want your puppy shipped out at different time and by itself (outside of our group scheduling of shipping the puppies), we charge an additional $25.00/ Dickinson or $45.00/ Rapid City or Bismarck for the extra trip to the airport.  How often does this happen?  It hasn't yet, we make several trips to the airport in a month, one of those trips normally works out for everyone.
  • Puppies/dogs 12 - 25 lbs or 2 puppies in one kennel require a larger kennel, there is an extra fee of $20.00.
  • Puppies or Dogs weighing more than 30 lbs are delivered via Ground Transport ONLY.  Shipping charges are $350.  1/2 is paid before the puppy/dog leaves the other 1/2 is paid after arrival.
  • IF your puppy couldn't fly due to airline's canceling flights from weather or whatever and you become downright disrespectful/nasty... we will ADD our gas fee of $50.00 to your bill before we go back to the airport for a reshipment.  The night before shipping we prepare the kennel, your puppy packet, bathing your puppy and making sure all is alright, then often having to get up in the middle of the night and head to the airport spending spending a minimum of 5 hours on the road.  You can imagine our disappointment when we return home with your puppy.  This does not always happen but can happen!  Due to sudden weather changes, airplane malfunctions and so forth.
  •  NOTICE:   We do not recommend going to Rapid City during "Bike Week of Sturgis", which is the first week of August, this includes 4 days prior to the opening Sunday and 4 days past the closing Saturday.  Traffic congestion is AWFUL at its best description.  Should you insist that we go during this time, we will add an additional $75.00 to the shipping costs.  We will ship out of Dickinson or Bismarck, ND though at no extra charges.
  •  ADD  the optional VIP Same Day Live Animal Shipping is the premium priced program for fastest transit time and the largest network of participating Northwest stations. This product lets you access Northwest cities that do not have cargo facilities.  VIP cuts travel time down especially during layovers from 2+ hours to under 2 hours, if you are not sure if you want regular or VIP we could always ask the airlines what the difference would be and then you can decide from there. $100.00.  The following airports require VIP:  Liguardia, NY; Washington National, DC.; White Plains, NY (as we run into more airports that require VIP we will add them to the list).
  • What you should do or need to know:  1) Call your local airport and find out where to pick up a live animal cargo from the airline that we notify you will be delivering your puppy... this varies from airport to airport.  Also most airports take 20 minutes to 2 hours to "unload" your puppy, be sure to ask how long it takes for their "recovery time".  IF YOUR PUPPY IS COMING COLLECT BESURE TO ASK WHERE YOU PAY FOR THE FLIGHT.  2) Even though your puppy was bathed the morning before she/he left, they can get airsick or often cannot hold it for the entire trip, bring along some paper towels and an old newspaper in case you need fresh paper in the kennel.  3) We do not recommend you let your puppy out of the kennel at the airport, there is a lot of activity we would hate for you to lose your puppy, remember... they are not used to all the different people and noises.  4) Expect your puppy to by shy, remember your puppy left a quiet home (in the country) and is now in a noisy/busy area.  Depending on the flight your puppy may be hungry and thirsty upon arrival so be sure to offer food and water when you arrive home.  Also like a child, this is a long day for the puppy, he/she may play for a short bit then go to take a nap.  Puppies do take naps just like a child.

 OUR DELIVERY DETAILS

Ask us if we will consider any discounts for you to pickup a puppy from our home.

  • We will deliver for free within 40 miles of Ludlow, SD.

  • Our delivery fee for 41 to 150 miles is .40 a mile (calculated one way from town to town, we start calculating from Bowman, Reeder, Scranton or Buffalo depending which direction we go to meet you).

  • If you want to pickup your puppy and are further than 150 miles we will gladly meet you at the maximum of our 150 miles we are willing to deliver to.

  • We will, on occasion (pending weather and our time), deliver up to 250 miles, delivery between 151 to 250 miles will be charged .60 a mile (calculated one way from town to town).  Includes Pet Escort and health certificate.

  • Delivery prices CAN CHANGE due to the increases of expected gas prices.

  • Optional items can be purchased from us when we deliver a puppy:

    • Pet Escort (approx. 23" x 14" x 11") kennel...$10.00

    • Large size (approx. 26" x 18.5" x 16.5") kennel...$25.00

    • Due to the extra kennel cough shot, rabies shot, and collar required, Instead of $10 fee for our health certificate, it is $30 for certificate, collar and shots.  YOU DO NOT NEED TO PURCHASE A KENNEL, THIS TRANSPORTER PROVIDES THEM, they are his though for his transporting business, you do not receive a kennel upon arrival.
    • Located in Northern Idaho, however he transports dogs all over the lower 48 states.
    • Was a breeder and a trainer for over 25 years.
    • References can be provided.
    • multiple dog discount pricing if they are all picked up in one location and delivered to one destination.
    • inspected, certified, and governed by the Dept. of Transportation.
    • DOT requirement that all dogs/pups must be current on their vaccinations, including kennel cough and rabies, at the time of transport. 
    • Schedules and routes are based upon the availability and number of dogs to be transported.
    • All dogs must have a collar.
      I (Girard) stop every 1 to 2 hours and check on the dogs/pups and water them and change their bedding as needed.
      I stop every 4 to 6 hours to exercise them, feed them, water them, and change their bedding as needed.
      I write every stop, place, time, and what I did for each dog/pup so that the person receiving the dog/pup will know exactly what kind of care and attention was given to their dog/pup during the entire trip.
      Young Puppies are placed inside my vehicle so that I may watch them more closely.  They do require more attention and care than the full grown dogs.
      Schedules and routes are based upon the availability and number of dogs to be transported.

 You MUST fill out the purchase agreement COMPLETELY, not signing our puppy purchase agreement makes my Guarantee NULL and VOID!  Incomplete info can delay in Vet appointments and Flight arrangements!  We need it COMPLETELY filled out for both the Vet and the Flight!  We do not go to the vet or book flights until the agreement has been sent to us.

By purchasing a puppy you are agreeing to our terms of sale, we require the buyer to fill out and fax or mail back our Puppy Purchase Agreement along with your deposit, you can submit from the internet with our online form, print from our .PDF File (Requires Adobe Acrobat), or print our Microsoft Word.

A minimum of 1/2 down is required for us to hold the puppy that is already born, balance of the puppy price is due before age 6 weeks and the shipping amount is due 10 days to 2 weeks prior to the shipping date.  All puppies must be paid in full 10 days prior to leaving.  NO personal checks are accepted within 2 weeks of shipping date.

To reserve a puppy a deposit is required, this is non-refundable (EXCEPTION:  40% of the deposit is refundable IF you change your mind within 5 days of the date the deposit was sent.  And only BEFORE the puppies are born).  Changing your mind can jeapordize the timely placement of a puppy in a good home at their most desirable age!  Depending on conception rate and the number of people on our waiting list will determine how long you will have to wait for a puppy.  We have a first come, first serve basis.  If you have questions... ask!

We reserve the right to first pick of any of our litters if we choose to keep a puppy for ourselves.
