American and English Cockapoo - Small Designer Dog

English Cockapoo puppies

A dog of outstanding intelligence, wonderful disposition, playful, happy, abounding affection, low to no shedding or 'doggy' odor (allergy friendly), easily trained and long lived. A dog that is amazingly forgiving of the indiscretions of small children with a keen intelligence any adult can appreciate. These dogs are of the best for the perfect family dog. We dock the tails of our Cockapoos unless requested otherwise. We raise both Mini (sometimes large Toy) American Cockapoos and Mini English Cockapoos (first generation). Sizes ranging from 10 - 20 lbs (depending on the parents). English Cockapoos do not tend to have as thick of coats as the American Cockapoos and have a slightly longer nose. Tails Docked, Back dew claws removed, we do not remove front dew claws, front dew claws are often used by the dog especially when they are active (whether it be digging, scratching, herding, agility and so forth).

Pepe has an incredible personality, a true joy to have, smart, loving. Active and fun to play with but will melt in your arms and be satisfied just to sit there with you. Pepe is solid jet black. He has a few Champions in his 4 generation pedigree.

90% of all dog genetic health problems are recessive. This means that in order for a puppy to have the health problem, both parents must carry it. By breeding two dogs of different breeds, without similar health problems, we are breeding puppies with far less health problems! Though, we searched for healthy parent dogs to begin with, if a dog shows signs of any health problems we no longer breed that dog.
Crossbred dogs have far less health problems, (hybrid vigor). True that the outcome is not as predictable as a purebred dog, though, we can predict a lot, by knowing the parents, past litters, and only breeding healthy dogs with great temperaments to begin with.
